Section 168(3) in The Haryana Motor Vehicles Rules, 1993
(3)The provisions of clause (c) of sub-rule (2) shall not apply to goods carriage when loaded with any pole or other projecting things so long as :-(a)the projecting load falls within the limits of the body of a trailor being drawn by the goods carriage; or(b)the distance by which the pole or other thing projects beyond the rear- most point of the motor vehicle does not exceed 1.8 metres; and(c)there is attached to the rear of such pole or other thing in such a way as to be clearly visible from the rear at all times white circular disc of not less than 375 millimetres in diameter and, at night a lamp in addition to the specified lamps on the vehicle so arranged as to show a red light to the rear.
