Section 240 in Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Rules, 1996
240. Custody of Stores.
(1)The person entrusted with the custody of stores will be responsible for their safety and keeping them in good condition and protecting them from loss, damage or deterioration.(2)He shall ensure proper and timely maintenance of machines, telephones, type writers, photo copier, collars and other office equipment to keep them in working condition at all times.
