Section 64(2) in The Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Act, 2016
(2)Every Selection Committee shall consist of-(a)For selection to the posts of Professors, Associate Professors, Librarian, Director, Physical education -(i)The Vice Chancellor - ex-officio Chairperson;(ii)Director of Training, Publication and Supervision of all schools or the Director, Centre for Research, Innovation and Evaluation;(iii)Four subject experts nominated by the Chancellor, from amongst persons serving in any University or any other institution recognized by the State Government.(b)for selections to the post of Assistant Professors, -(i)The Vice Chancellor - ex-officio Chairman;(ii)Two subject experts nominated by the Chancellor;(iii)Director of Training, Publication and Supervision of all schools or the Director, Centre for Research, Innovation and Evaluation;(iv)One Professor from any other University in the State nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
