Section 15(2) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(2)Candidates for the Second Year Annual Examination of Diploma or Certificate Course shall be required to have passed the First Year Annual Examination conducted by the Board and to have attended anEngineering or Technological Institution affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session thereafter.
