Section 66 in The Karnataka State Rural Development and Panchayat Raj University Act, 2016
66. Appointment to part-time post.
(1)There shall be a Selection Committee for selecting persons for appointment as part-time Assistant Professors, Associate Professors and Professors in the University. The Selection Committee shall consist of-(i)the Vice Chancellor-Chairperson;(ii)Director of Training, Publication and Supervision of all schools or the Director, Centre for Research, Innovation and Evaluation; if available;(iii)the Registrar - who shall be the Member Secretary;(2)The quorum for a meeting of the Selection Committee shall be two.(3)No part time appointment shall be made for any period exceeding one year at a time.
