Section 7(1)(iii) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992

(iii)Where a substantial education of discipline marks for a Regular student is being made, reason for such deduction shall be recorded and preserved up to six months after the declaration of the result of Final Diploma Examination.
