Section 35 in The West Bengal University of Health Sciences Act, 2002
35. Controller of Examinations.
(1)The Controller of Examinations shall be appointed by the Executive Council and shall be a whole-time officer of the University. The salary and allowances, terms and conditions of service of the Controller of Examinations shall be such as may be prescribed by regulations.(2)Subject to the general and specific directions of the Executive Council and Academic Council, the Controller of Examinations shall exercise all such powers for management and administration of the University, as may be delegated to him by the Executive Council and the Academic Council, and shall be in charge of the conduct of examinations in the University and matters related thereto.(3)The Controller of Examinations shall ensure that all the specific directions of the Executive Council or the Academic Council or the Vice-Chancellor are complied with.(4)The Controller of Examinations shall be a permanent invitee to the Executive Council but he shall have no right to vote.
