(2)The Vice-President shall-(a)in absence of the President preside over the meeting of Zilla Parishad;(b)exercise such powers and perform such duties of the President, as the President from time to time may, subject to the rules as may be prescribed, delegate to him by order in writing; and(c)pending the election of the President or during the absence of the President from the district, or by reason of leave for a period exceeding 30(Thirty) days, exercise the powers and perform the duties of the President.
