Section 6(3) in Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers Rights (Community Award from the Gene Fund) Rules, 2018
(3)The criteria for determining Community Award are as follow:-(a)The community of farmers awarded with Plant Genome Saviour Community Award shall not be eligible to apply again.(b)In any financial year, the award shall not be conferred to more than one community from the same State.(c)The community of farmers shortlisted for Community Award shall be required to deposit a specified quantity of seeds or propagating material with the Authority to be decided by it's Chairperson.(d)The Authority shall conduct a site inspection of the short-listed awardees for verification.
