Section 5(i) in Andhra Pradesh Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions of Engineering/Pharmacy Diploma holders into Under Graduate Professional courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2006
(i)The admissions into all the University Colleges offering Under Graduate Professional Courses in Engineering (including Technology) and Pharmacy shall be made through Single Window System in the order of merit on the basis of ranking assigned in ECET (FDH) as per Rule 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders for admission into B.E., B.Tech. and B. Pharm courses Rules, 2004 by following the Rules of Reservation as prescribed in Rule 7 hereunder.
