Section 32 in Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1960
32. Acceptance of Gifts.
(1)No employee shall, except with the sanction of the Chairman, accept or permit his wife or any other member of his family to accept from any person any gift of more than a trifling value.(2)If the question arises whether any gift is of a trifling value or not, or where an employee is in any doubt whether a gift offered to him is of a trifling value or not a reference shall be made to the Chairman by such employee and the decision of the Chairman thereon shall be final [under these regulations] [Notified in Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II Section 3 sub-section (i) dated 13.12.1993 (G.S.R.
