Section 15(4) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(4)Candidate for the Final Examination of Diploma Course shall be required to have passed the First or Second Year or Third Year Annual Examination, as the case may be, conducted by the Board and to have attended an Engineering or Technological Institution affiliated to the Board for a period of not less than one session thereafter.
