accused may be discharged or the punishment awarded may be remitted on apology being made to the satisfaction of the court. Explanation.— An apology shall
show
cause notice in the contempt proceedings tendered an unconditional and
unqualified apology and further deposed :
"In view of what I have stated above ... show cause notice
in the contempt proceedings also tendered an unqualified apology. He gave
an account of his duties during his service career and filed
made
serious allegations of corruption against Judges of High
Court-Agreed to apologies-But resiled and published
scurrilous writings-Whether should be punished.
HEADNOTE ... contempt petition in this Court he was given
a choice to submit apologies to this Court as well as to
each of the four Judges
enquiry officer,
the said three employees admitted the charges and tendered
unconditional apology. They also gave undertaking that they would not
