Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and considering the submissions urged before this Court and also having perusal of the judgment and order dated 27.07.2020 rendered by the Delhi High Court in Tarun Kumar Banjaree vs. Union of India reported in 2020 SCC OnLine Del 859 as well as the OM dated 14.12.2010 as well as 25.05.2018 issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Department of Personnel & Training Cadre Review Division, it is clear that the petitioners claim for Cadre Review is not misplaced. The Department is required to process the proposal for Cadre Review for Group 'A' Officers of Assam Rifles. In terms of the instructions, the proposal has now under the active consideration by the Ministry of Home Affairs, this Court is of the view that these writ petitions can be disposed of directing the respondent Authorities to complete the process of Cadre Review within a period of 10 (ten) months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order.
