Ors. v. State of Punjab & Ors." reported in (2011) 11 SCC 396
wherein Hon'ble Supreme Court, taking note of the ponds in the
villages being filled with earth and many ponds being auctioned off
at throw away prices, held that the Gram Sabha/ Gram Panchayat/
Poramboke/Shamlat land must be restored for the common use of
the villagers.
