Section 89 in Andhra Pradesh Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems (conduct of Elections) Rules, 2003

89. Election schedule.

(1)The election for the post of President and Vice-President shall be held as per the following schedule.
    Item   Timings
(a) Receipt of nomination and announcement ofnominations received 10 Minutes
(b) Withdrawal of nominations 10 Minutes
(c) Final list of valid nominations 10 Minutes
(d) Polling, if necessary 15 Minutes
(e) Counting of votes and declaration of results 15 Minutes
(2)In exigencies, it shall be competent to the Election Officer to marginally change the timings provided as in sub-rule (1) but the entire poll process shall be completed on the same day.
(3)Where the elections are to be held simultaneously for both the posts of President and Vice-President, the election process for the Post of Vice-President shall commence only after the election to the President is completed and result declared.
