Section 33(1) in The U.P. Pravidhik Shiksha (Admission Conduct of Examinations and Conferment of Certificates and Diplomas) Regulations, 1992
(1)The Board may, on application made in that behalf within the time prescribed in Schedule-111 and in such form as the Board may prescribe, admit a candidate who was unable to present himself to an examination to the next ensuing examination by holding over his/her fee on the following conditions-(a)that the candidate was detained by the Principal of the affiliated institution under Regulation 5.(b)that the candidate was seriously ill at the time of examination the fact being duly supported with the certificate of a registered medical practitioner.
