33. Finance Committee.
(1)The Finance Committee shall be responsible for the financial management of the University and shall consist of the following members :-(i)Vice-Chancellor-Chairman;(ii)Secretary to Government of Chhattisgarh, Finance Department;(iii)Secretary to Government of Chhattisgarh, Agriculture Department;(iv)Secretary to Government of Chhattisgarh, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services Department;(v)Director of Agriculture, Raipur;(vi)Director of Veterinary Services, Raipur.(2)The Committee shall exercise the following powers and perform the following duties :-(i)to approve the budget of the University;(ii)to consider Annual Accounts and financial estimates placed before it by the Comptroller and pass them without modification or with modification as it may deem fit;(iii)to lay before the Board annually a full statement of the financial requirements of the University.
