Section 3 in Rules of Admission to M.B.B.S Course to Medical Colleges in Rajasthan, 1985

3. Eligibility.

(a)A candidate must have passed the First Year Science Examination of the Three Years Degree Course (Pass/Hons.) of the University established by Law in India or the Higher Secondary Examination (Science) conducted by a statutory board at the end of 12 years study under 10+2 pattern of Secondary Education or any other examination recognized by the University established by Law in India as equivalent to its First Year T.D.C. Science Examination in all the compulsory subjects and the optional subjects of the Medical Group (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) including English as one of the compulsory subjects, on the last elate of submission of the application.

(b)B.Sc. Examination of University established by Law in India with not less than three of the following subjects- Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology provided further that he/she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with following subjects-Physics, Chemistry. Biology and English.
(e)He/She shall have to obtain at least 50% marks at the Pre-Medical Test on the result of which above admission to the MBBS/BDS Course will be regulated. Candidate who have appeared at any of the aforesaid examinations but whose results have not been declared before the commencement of the Pre-Medical Test may be given provisional admission to appear as the Pre-Medical Test. The natural born SC/ST students may be given a relaxation of 10% in the minimum marks required in Pre-Medical Test. In case of wards of Army Personnel and disable student also a relaxation of 5% in such minimum marks will be admissible:
Provided further that the candidates for admission to the first MBBS/BDS Course must have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the admission of the year.Note.-1. A candidate who has passed in the compulsory subjects of General Hindi and General english and the Optional subjects of the Medical Group (Physics. Chemistry and Biology) of the First Year Examination of the Three Years Degree Course in Science conducted by University established by Law in India shall be deemed to have passed, the 1st Year T.D.C. Science Examination for the purpose of this rule.
