Section 2A(1) in The Chota Nagpur Encumbered Estates Act, 1876
(1)For the purpose of making an application under section 2 in the case of any holder the Deputy Commissioner may, by written order, require the said holder to produce before him, on a date to be stated in such order-(i)a statement in writing, showing-(a)all debts and liabilities to which the said holder is subject,(b)the amount, kind and particulars of his property, and the annual value of any such property not consisting of money,(c)the names and residences of his creditors, so far as they are known to, or can be ascertained by him, and(d)such other information as the Deputy Commissioner may be his order require, and(ii)such documents relating to his estate, which are in the possession, power or control of the holder, as the Deputy Commissioner may deem necessary.
