Section 8(3) in The Professional Examination of Power Engineers for Thermal Generation Regulations, 1988
(3)The examination shall be such as to test-(a)the knowledge of the Engineer regarding the works where he has been employed, as to-(i)details of equipment, operation and maintenance thereof;(ii)the method and cost of engineering construction;(iii)the dealing with contractors and management of labour, and(iv)ability to design and estimate, and(b)the Engineer's acquittance with official rules contained in publications mentioned in the Schedule and his knowledge of the accounts of a Sub-division or of a Division, as the case may be.
