The U.P. State Electricity Board Service of Engineers (Integration and Seniority) (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 1985Published vide Notification No. 16 Reg. Cell/SEB-85-139-A-78, dated June 7, 1985, published in the U.P. Gazette, Part (1-Ka), dated 8th March, 1986In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 79 (c) of the Electricity (Supply) Act, 1948, the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board hereby makes the following amendments in the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Service of Engineers (Integration and Seniority) Regulations, 1976 :

1. Short title and commencement.

(1)These Regulations may be called the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Service of Engineers (Integration and Seniority) (Sixth Amendment) Regulations, 1985.

(2)They shall come into force with effect from May 28, 1985.

2. Substitution of Regulation.

- In the Uttar Pradesh State Electricity Board Service of Engineers (Integration and Seniority) Regulations, 1976 for Regulation 6 (2) the following regulation shall be substituted -"Seniority of Engineers from Ex-licensee Companies

(2)The Committee referred to in sub-regulation (1) shall consist of-

(i)Chairman;

(ii)one wholetime member of the Board nominated by the Chairman; and

(iii)Law Officer of the Board."
