Section 39 in THE ANDHRA PRADESH FISHERIES UNIVERSITY ACT, 2020
39. Fisheries Sciences Extension -
(1)The University shall establish the Fisheries Krishi Vigyan Kendras and Fisheries Extension Units for the purpose of,-(a)undertaking extension programmes in a phased manner covering the entire State of Andhra Pradesh in such manner as maybe determined by the Government inconsultation with the Board;(b)dissemination of information for the solution of problems relating to Fisheries Sciences;(c)establishment of youth clubs for developing the interests of young people in Fisheries Sciences;and(d)for such other purposes as may beprescribed.(2)The Director of Extension appointed under sub-section (1) of section 18, shall beresponsible for dissemination of such information and planning and execution of programmes of extension work based upon the results onresearch.
