(1)The General Body of a Farmers Organisation shall consist of the members(a)in respect of a Pani Panchayat as specified under Sub-section (4) of Section 3 of the Act; and(b)in respect of Distributary Committee as specified under Sub-section (3) of Section 5 of the Act; and(c)in respect of a Project Committee as specified under Sub-section (3) of Section 7 of the Act.(2)The General Body shall be assisted by the competent authority as notified under Section 21 of the Act. The competent authority shall have the right to attend the meeting and record his views, but shall have no right to vote.
