Section 33(3) in Punjab Boiler Operation Engineers' Rules, 2001
(3)A candidate for a restricted certificate of proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer for operation of Waste heat boilers shall be issued in Form 'B' appended to the rules, mentioning clearly on the top of certificate "Restricted Certificate for Waste heat boilers only" which are an integral part of a process plant of a continuous flow installation. A candidate for such a certificate shall not be less than twenty four years of age and shall not be admitted to the examination unless he possesses :-(a)a degree in mechanical or electrical or chemical engineering recognised by the Institution of Engineers (India) for exemption from sections A and B of the Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India) Examination; and(b)not less than one year's training and three years' practical experience in operation and maintenance of Waste heat boilers which are an integral part of a process plant of a continuous flow installation.
