Section 7 in Assistant Education Inspector and Assistant Teacher, Class III (Departmental Examination) Rules 2012

7.

(1)The standard for passing the examination shall be fifty percent of the total marks assigned to each paper.
(2)The candidates shall be allowed to answer the papers of all the subjects with the help of books.Explanation. - "With books" means original books of the relevant subjects, bare Acts, rules and text without commentary or case laws and manuals issued or published by the Government.
(3)An unsuccessful candidate who secures sixty percent of more marks in any one or more papers shall be exempted from appearing in those papers at the subsequent examination:Provided that any exemption obtained by such candidate in the paper under the old rules specified in column-1 of Appendix-C shall be deemed to have been obtained in the corresponding papers specified under these rules, in column-2 of Appendix-C.
(4)A candidate who has secure eighty percent or more aggregate marks in the examination shall be paid an amount in cash as an incentive as may be determined by the Government.Appendix 'A'(See rule 6)Syllabus of the Departmental Examination.
