Section 40 in The Punjab Scheduled Roads and Controlled Areas Restriction of Unregulated Development Rules, 1965

40. Site Plan [Sections 8 and 25(2)(c)].

(1)The site plan shall be drawn to a scale of not less than :-
(a)1/16th of an inch to a foot for sites up to 4,840 square yards.
(b)1/32nd of an inch to a foot for sites above 4,840 square yards and under 48,400 square yards, and
(c)1/64th of an inch to a foot for sites 48,400 square yards and above.
(2)The site plan shall be prepared with sufficient accuracy to enable the site to be identified and shall be submitted on distinct prints triplicate two of which shall be mounted on cloth. One mounted copy shall be returned to the applicant with the words "Rejected" or "Sanctioned" as the case may be, written on it. The site plan shall be fully dimensioned and shall show -
(a)the boundaries of the site;
(b)the direction of the North point;
(c)the street or roads adjoining the site with their width clearly dimensioned and with names, if any, of all existing roadside trees, lamp posts, or other features or structures likely to affect the approach to the buildings;
(d)surrounding buildings in outline up to a distance of 50 feet from the boundaries of the site;
(e)buildings or structures on or over or under the site or projecting beyond it in outline including proposed building to be shown distinctly;
(f)dimensions of open spaces at the rear, side or front;
(g)the area and proportion of the site to be covered by building;
(h)the levels of the site and of the plinth of the buildings in relation to those of the neighbouring streets, also the levels of all courtyards and open spaces in relation to the bed levels of the existing drains and sewers in the street or streets into which the building or site is to be drained; and
(i)method of disposal of waste water, sewage and storm water.
