Section 15(1) in West Bengal Electrical Licensing Rules, 2017
(1)Candidates intending to appear in the examination for permits to Electrical Workmen, shall possess the following qualifications:-(a)in respect of description mentioned in Parts i(a), i(b) and (ii) of Annexure I, self-certification regarding working experience for a period of two years;(b)in respect of description mentioned in Parts (vii) and (viii) of Annexure I, permit relating to high pressure installation work and a valid permit in the corresponding class or classes (iv) and (v), respectively, pertaining to medium-pressure work as mentioned in clause (g) of Annexure I;(c)in respect of description mentioned in any other Part of Annexure I, documents or certificates indicating working experience in operation and maintenance for a minimum period of two years in Generation, transmission and distribution companies or electrical installations including factory registered under the Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948) and mines and oil field as defined in the Mines Act, 1952 (35 of 1952), where more than 250 Kilo Watt (KW) electrical load is connected/under an electrical contractor licensed under these rules, or received other electrical training as a workman for a minimum period of two years which is considered satisfactory by the Board;
