Section 2(92) in Assam Notified Urban Areas (Other than Guwahati) Building Rules, 2014
(92)"part wall" means and includes,-(i)a wall forming part of a building and being used or constructed to be used in any part of the height or length of such wall for separation of adjoining building belonging to different owners or constructed or adopted to be occupied by different persons; or(ii)a wall forming part of a building and standing in any part of the length of such wall, to a greater extent than the projection of the footing on one side or ground of different owners;
