Section 10 in Veterinary Council Of India Regulation, 1991

10. Duties of visitor

(1)In furnishing the report etc the President it shall be the duty of a visitor to give his opinion categorically about the sufficiency or otherwise of each institution examination inspected by him and also to record therein whether;
(a)the examination was properly conducted;
(b)the questions for such examination were framed having regard to the Standards of the education imparted, and
(c)the teaching facilities available in the veterinary college, hospital or other institution in which veterinary education is given are sufficient.
(2)The report referred to in sub-regulation (1)above shall;
(a)set forth all necessary particulars as to the, questions proposed in the written, oral and practical parts of each examination inspected by the visitor, the cases and appliances provided for clinical and practical examination, the arrangements made for invigilation, the method and scales of marking the standard of knowledge show by successful candidates' and generally all such details as may be required for adjudicating on the scope and character of the examination;
(b)include a brief record of the actual time spent by the visitor in inspecting each examination on each day of his inspection;
(c)include information-relating to teaching facilities, equipments, accommodation and staff existing at such colleges, hospitals and institutions and other sections attached to them;
(d)indicate the extent to which the recommendations of Veterinary Council of India in regard to examinations have been carried out in the case of such examination inspected by him and also to what extent the educational regulations of the Veterinary Council of India have been given effect to in the education of the students in the particular subject or subjects with which the visitor is concerned in the institution; and
(e)compare the proof of his report on receipt from the Secretary with the original and correct, sign and return it to the Secretary for preservation in the records of the Council as the authentic copy of the report.
