Section 5 in Andhra Pradesh Special Protection Force Rules, 2000
5. Qualification.
(1)No person shall be eligible for appointment by promotion or appointment by transfer for categories 1 and 2 of Class -A and Category 1 of Class-B unless he or she possesses a degree of the recognized University of India.(2)Special Qualifications. - No person shall be eligible for appointment by transfer for Category 3 of Class-A Assistant Commandant, Special Protection Force, unless he or she fulfills the following conditions:(a)Shall be a Graduate from a recongnised University of India(b)shall be an approved probationer in the category of Deputy Superintendent of Police or Assistant Commandant;(c)shall have good record of service and maintain clean defaulter sheet without any major punishment;(d)shall not be more than 42 years of age as on the date of appointment by transfer.
