Section 36(3) in The Orissa Boiler Operation Engineers' Rules, 2000
(3)A candidate for a restricted Certificate of proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer for operation of waste heat boilers which are an integral part of a process plant of a continuous flow installation, shall not be less than 24 years of age and shall not be admitted to the Examination unless he possesses.(i)a degree from a recognised University or a certificate of passing Sections A and B of the AMIE Examination recognised by the Institution of India in mechanical or electrical or instrumentation or chemical engineering;(ii)not less than one year training in operation and maintenance of waste heat boilers which are an integral part of a process plant of a continuous flow installation; and(iii)not less than 3 years practical experience in operation and maintenance of waste heat boilers which are an integral part of a process plant of a continuous flow installation.
