Section 21(2)(iii) in Bachelor of Engineering and Technology, Bachelor of Pharmacy and Diploma in Pharmacy (Regulation of Admission and Payment of Fees) Rules, 2008

(iii)After allotting the seats to candidates mentioned in sub-clause (i) & (ii) above, if any seat remains vacant, the institute shall invite application from the candidates who have passed diploma engineering course and grant admission on merit. Such candidates shall be eligible for admission in first year of engineering only.
