Section 9(1) in The Rajasthan Hatching Eggs and Day-Old-Chicks (Regulation of Production, Supply and Sale) Order, 1992
(1)The Licensing Authority or any officer authorised by him on his behalf, may with a view to securing compliance with the provisions of this order:(a)require the owner, occupier or any other person in-charge of business in which or he has reason to believe that any contravention of the provisions of the order or of the conditions of any license issued there-under has been, is being or is about to be committed, to produce any book, accounts or other records showing transactions relating to such contraventions, and take or cause to be taken extract from or copies of such books, accounts or other records produced before it or him;(b)enter, inspect or break open and search any place of business or premises in which it or he has reason to believe that any contravention of the provisions of this order or of the conditions of license issued thereunder has been, is being or is about to be committed:(c)search, seize and take into custody the breeding stock maintained and hatching eggs and day-old-chicks produced or being processed for sale otherwise than in accordance with the provisions of this order or of the conditions of license issued to him and thereon take or authorise to take all measures necessary for securing the production of the breeding stock, hatching eggs and day-old-chicks so seized in a court and for their safe custody pending such production:(d)Seize or detain on proper receipt, the documents, accounts books or other relevant records connected with breeding stock, the production and sale of hatching eggs or day-old-chicks in respect of which it or he has reason to believe that a contravention of this order has been, is being or is about to be committed.
