Section 1 in The Goa, Daman And Diu Land Revenue Code, 1968
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Goa [* * *] [The words 'Daman and Diu' omitted by the Goa Land Revenue Code, adaptation of Laws Order, 1987.] Land Revenue Code, 1968.(2)It extends to the whole of the [State of Goa] [Substituted by the Goa Land Revenue Code, adaptation of Laws Order, 1987.].(3)It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint; and different dates may be appointed for different areas and for different provisions of this Code.
