Section 30 in Prevention Of Collision On National Waterways Regulations, 2002
30. Lights to be exhibited by anchored vessels and vessels aground.-
(a)A vessel at an anchor shall exhibit:(i)In the fore, part, an alround white light or one ball by day.(ii)At or near the stern and at a lower level than the light in (i) an alround white light.(b)A vessel of less than 20 metres in length may exhibit one alround white light, where it can best be seen.(c)A vessel aground shall exhibit in addition to the lights prescribed in paragraph (a) or (b), where they can best be seen(i)Two all round red lights in a vertical line.(ii)Three balls in a vertical line by day.(d)A vessel of less than 10 metres in length shall have ready at hand and electric torch or lighted lantern showing a white light which shall be exhibited in sufficient time to warn the approaching vessels.
