Section 24(50) in Manonmaniam Sundaranar University Act, 1990
(50)(a)to delegate any of its powers to the Vice-Chancellor, to a committee from among its own members or to a committee appointed in accordance with the statues.(b)The Syndicate may consult the Standing Committee on Academic Affairs in respect of any academic matter, where it considers such consultation in necessary.
