11. Functions of Zonal Accreditation Board.
- The following shall be the functions of the Zonal Accreditation Board.(a)to appoint permanent Secretary to the Board;(b)to consider and approve or disapprove the assessment submitted by the Secretariat after due evaluation;(c)to grant provisional accreditation to the Bus Body Builder;(d)to authorize Secretary to issue provisional accreditation certificate within a given time span;(e)to approve the panel of assessors in the zone;(f)to ensure the training of assessors in the assessment techniques; and(g)to define powers and authority of the Secretary to plan the assessment in consultation with the team of assessors and Bus Body Builders.
