(2)Each Faculty Council for post-graduate and undergraduate studies shall consist of the following members: -(i)the Vice-Chancellor, Chairman;(ia)[ the Dean of the Faculty, Vice-Chairman] [Clause (b) substituted clauses (c), (d), (ia), (iva), (ivb) inserted by W.B. Act 21 of 1996.];(ii)the Dean, Post-Graduate Studies;(iii)the Director of Research;(iv)the Director of Extension;(iva)[ the Campus Director] [Clause (b) substituted clauses (c), (d), (ia), (iva), (ivb) inserted by W.B. Act 21 of 1996.];(ivb)[ the Associate Dean] [Clause (b) substituted clauses (c), (d), (ia), (iva), (ivb) inserted by W.B. Act 21 of 1996.];(v)the Heads of the Departments concerned;(vi)three teachers, of whom at least one shall be in the rank of Professor, where there is a Professor, from each Department of the Faculty concerned elected jointly by such teachers;(vii)two persons having special knowledge in the subject or subjects concerned nominated by the Vice-Chancellor.
