Section 55 in The Global Open University (Nagaland) Act, 2006
55. Preference to persons from Nagaland.
(1)Persons who are ordinarily residents in the State of Nagaland shall be given preference over other in the matter of recruitment to all posts in the University in the State of Nagaland, subject to fulfillment of the qualifications, terms and other conditions of appointment prescribed in regulations.(2)The Executive Council has a right to relax the qualifications, terms and other conditions of appointment to various posts in the University in favour of persons who are ordinarily residents in the State of Nagaland without grossly compromising merit.
