Section 15(2) in Telangana State Electrical Licensing Regulations, 2018
(2)Eligibility :-The candidate for admission to appear for the Supervisor (Certificate of Competency) Examination should possess either of the following:(a)A pass in the 10th Class or its equivalent, with not less than 8 years of experience in the practice of Electrical Installation works; or a Wireman or Electrician of ITI certificate holder, with not less than 4 years experience in the practice of electrical installation works.(or)(b)A pass in the 10th Class or its equivalent, with not less than 8 years of experience in the practice of Electrical Installation works in mines or Wireman or Electrician of ITI Certificate Holder with 4 years experience in the practice of Electrical Installation works in the mines:Provided that the candidate possesses two years experience in underground Mines out of 4 years, the certificate of competency awarded shall be Supervisor mines (unrestricted).Provided further that the candidate possesses 4 years experience exclusively in open cast mines the certificate of competency awarded shall be supervisor Mines (restricted).Note. - The experience in all the above cases shall be certified by a firm or licensed Electrical Contractor and countersigned by an Electrical Engineer in Telangana State TRANSCO/GENCO/DISCOMS or Electrical Inspectorate not below the rank of Assistant Divisional Engineer, Deputy Electrical Inspector respectively.
