65. Salary and allowances of the Chairperson and Members
(1)The Chairperson shall be entitled to the salary and allowances which is equal to the salary and allowances payable to a Principal Secretary to Government or the pay last drawn by him when he was in Government service, whichever be higher.(2)A Member shall be entitled to the salary and allowances which is equal to the salary and allowances payable to a Chief Engineer or the pay last drawn by him when he was in Government service, whichever be higher.(3)If the Chairperson or Member at the time of his appointment was in receipt of a pension in respect of any previous service under the Government, his salary as Chairperson or Member, as the case may be, shall be reduced by the amount of that pension.
