Section 27 in Rajasthan Rural Development and Panchayati Raj State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1998

27. Constitution of the Committee.

- The constitution of the Committee shall be as under: -
(1)For the posts falling within the purview of the Commission: -
(i) Chairman of the Commission or a member there of nominated byhim. Chairman
(ii) Secretary to the Government in the Administrative Department Member
(iii) Secretary to the Government in the Department of Personnel orhis representative not below the rank of Deputy Secretary toGovernment in the Department of Personnel. Member
(iv) Director, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department Member Secretary
(2)For the posts falling outside the purview of the Commission: -
(i) Director, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department. Chairman
(ii) Dy. Secretary to the Government, in the Department ofpersonnel. Member
(iii) Dy. Secretary to the Government, Rural Development &Panchayati Raj Department Secretary Member
Provided that in case any Member or Member Secretary, as the case may be, constituting the Committee has not been appointed to the post concerned, the officer holding charge of the post for the time being shall be the Member of Member Secretary, as the case may be, of the Committee.
