The Bengal Court Of Wards (Amendment) Act, 1941Bengal Act 9 of 1941[16th October, 1941.]An Act further to amend the Court of Wards Act, 1879.Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Court of Wards Act, 1879, for the purposes and in the manner hereinafter appearing;It is hereby enacted as follows :-

1. Short title. -

This Act may be called the Bengal Court of Wards (Amendment) Act, 1941.

2. Amendment of section 3 of Bengal Act 9 of 1879. -

Repealed by W.B. Act 7 of 1948.

3. Repeal of section 56. -

Repealed by W.B. Act 7 of 1948.

4. Retrospective effect. -

The amendments made by sections 2 and 3 shall have effect in respect of all suits or proceedings including proceedings in execution which are pending on the date of commencement of this Act.
