Section 27(1) in The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda Act, 1949
(1)(i)There shall be a council of Post-graduate Studies and Research (hereinafter called the Council) to deal with all matters relating to [Post-graduate] [These words were inserted, by Bombay 52 of 1950, Section 21 (a) (i).] instruction, training and research in the various subjects taught in the University or in which training is given or research conducted;(ii)The Council may be divided by the Statutes into two following [divisions] [This word was substituted for the word 'departments', by Bombay 52 of 1950, Section 21 (a) (ii).]:-(a)[ The Faculties of Arts, Education and Psychology, Commerce, Law, Fine Arts, Home Science and Social Work; and [These sub-clauses were substituted for the original, by Bombay 52 of 1950, Section 21 (a) (iii).](b)The Faculties of Science, Medicine, [Technology and Engineering] and Agriculture.]
