Section 27A(1) in Tamil Nadu District Municipalities (Hill Stations) Building Rules, 1993
(1)The District Committee for Architectural and Aesthetics Aspects shall comprise of the following members, namely, -(a)A Chairman, who shall be Additional Collector (Development) or where there is no Additional Collector, the District Revenue Officer of the district;(b)A Convener, who shall be the Regional Deputy Director of Town and Country Planning;(c)Official members not exceeding twelve from Group A and B Officers in Forest, Tourism, Public Works, Geology, Mines, Municipal Administration, Rural Development Departments and Executive Authorities of Local Bodies and officers of equal rank from Government Undertakings to be nominated by the Government;(d)Non-official members not exceeding six, of whom at least one member representing local authorities in the hill stations in the district and the remaining from persons who have interest in the ecology of the hill stations and resident of the district to be nominated by the Government.
