Section 255(1) in Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj Act, 1994
(1)Any Officer or person whom the Government may empower in this behalf may enter on and inspect, -(a)any immovable property, or any work in progress under the control of any Gram Panchayat, [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] or the [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.];(b)any school, hospital, dispensary, vaccination station, choultry or other institution maintained by, or under the control of any Gram Panchayat, [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] or [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] and any records, registers or other documents kept in such institution;(c)the office of any Gram Panchayat, [Mandal Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Mandal Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] or [Zilla Praja Parishad] [Substituted 'Zilla Parishad' by Act No. 41 of 2006, dated 23.9.2006.] and any records, registers or other documents kept therein.
