The New Mangalore Port Employees (Festival Advances) Amendment Regulations, 2005Published vide Notification No. G.S.R. 405(E), dated 16th June, 2005Ministry of Shipping, Road Transport and Highways(Department of Shipping)(Ports Wing)G.S.R. 405(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 124, read with Sub-section (1) of Section 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Central Government hereby approves the New Mangalore Port Employees (Festival Advance) Regulations, 2005 made by the Board of Trustees of New Mangalore Port Trust as set out in the Schedule annexed to this Notification.The said Regulations shall come into force from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette.
 

Schedule

Second Amendment to New Mangalore Port Employees (Festival Advances) Regulations, 1994.In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of New Mangalore Port Trust hereby makes the following Regulations further to amend the New Mangalore Port Employees (Festival Advances) Regulations, 1994 and as amended from time to time.

(i)These Regulations may be called the New Mangalore Port Employees (Festival Advances) Amendment Regulations, 2005.
(ii)The said Regulations shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
(iii)In the existing New Mangalore Port Employees (Festival Advances) Regulations, 1994 and as amended from time to time, for the existing Regulation 3(1) the following shall be substituted, namely :-

3. Extent of Application: - (1) Save as otherwise provided, in these Regulations, the advance is admissible to Class III, Class IV Employees and Officers.

For the existing Regulation 6 the following shall be substituted, namely :-

6. Amount of Advance: The amount of Advance which may be granted to an employee or an officer shall be fixed by the Board from time to time.
