(2)Preparation of Merit List. - (a) Two separate merit lists shall be prepared in the following manner, namely:-(i)[ Merit list of candidates referred to in clause (a) of sub-rule (1), shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE);](ii)Merit list of candidates referred to in clause (b) of sub-rule (1), shall be prepared on the basis of merit ranks obtained in the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE).(b)The merit lists so prepared shall have to be got approved by the Admission Committee.
