Learned Counsel appearing for the applicant submits that he does not want to challenge the conviction of the applicant but is challenging the sentence part, which, according to him, is on higher side. He further submits that the applicant has remained in jail for 16 days i.e. from 16.10.2012 to 19.10.2012 and from 09.11.2016 to 21.11.2016, she is facing the lis since 2012 i.e. for more than 13 years. He further submits that the applicant has no criminal antecedent. Furthermore, the applicant is a married woman and has a child and that, she has not joined the services and has not taken any monetary benefit from it. This apart, the fine amount has already been deposited before the concerned trial Court. Therefore, the jail sentence awarded to the applicant may be reduced to the period already undergone by her. Reliance has been placed in the matter of Parmanand Vs. State of Chhattisgarh passed in CRR No.813 of 2014.
